Welcome to the Freshly Baked Family!

We want to thank you for visiting our website and blog to learn more about our company. Our journey into the cannabis world all started after we finished serving our country as a combat Marine Sergeant in the Iraq War and a 9/11 first responder as an Air Force medic at the Pentagon.

As disabled veterans suffering from PTSD, we found cannabis helped us tremendously and truly changed our lives. Both of us decided that we need to make cannabis more obtainable to the world so everyone has the ability to experience all the positive effects it can have on one’s life.

In 2018, we started the process of establishing Freshly Baked in Taunton Massachusetts. The past three years have been challenging, yet very rewarding. Our overall goal is to leverage the success of Freshly Baked to give back to our community, help fellow veterans, create access to the plant,  and lead the expansion of Social Equity company participation in adult-use cannabis in Massachusetts and beyond.

Freshly Baked was part of Massachusetts’ inaugural Social Equity class which is incredibly important to us. As a social equity company, we have vowed to actively engage people from communities of disproportionate impact and ensure their inclusion in the legal cannabis industry.

The Reed & Barton Complex is the home to our manufacturing, delivery, and cultivation operations. This location was chosen with the intention of Freshly Baked becoming an anchor tenant to entice other companies to make Reed & Barton their home as well. Our goal is to not only provide as many local jobs as possible through our operations but also to be a key economic driver in the Taunton community.

With the community’s support, we are confident that Freshly Baked can turn into a pillar of the Taunton business community and drive economic growth for the benefit of all!

We are very excited about the future and invite you to come along for the ride. And of course, if you are interested in working with us, please shoot us an email!

Peace,

Philip Smith and Jenny Roseman
